BBM FAQs for Bookings and Health and Safety
What is MINDBODY?
MINDBODY is a fitness software which enables BBM Motivation to manage our attendees and adhere to health and safety requirements. Members will need to digitally sign a liability waiver and let us know if they have any serious health conditions to cater our sessions to the needs of participants.

How will you implement Contact Tracing?
If required by the Ministry of Health, we will be able to trace all those who have accessed the scheduled classes on certain days/times through this MINDBODY system. For all contractors/visitors, we have a Covid-19 Contact Tracing form which each person is required to fill in upon entry & exit. We also have QR codes displayed at entry and exit points at BBM's HQ.
How do I update my information?
It is important that we have the most up-to-date information, therefore please ensure that any changes are made immediately.
Are all classes back to the normal timetable?
Unfortunately, no. Due to health and safety reasons, we can only operate our free community boot camps when we are at Alert Level 1. Please keep an eye on the BBM Motivation Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/Buttabean/ or www.thebbmprogram.com for updates.
HEALTH & SAFETY
What is BBM doing to keep me safe?
We are doing everything we possibly can to keep our members safe, by following the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health & Worksafe:
- We will implement class number limits
- Practice of safe physical distancing of 2 metres
- Class timetable spacing
- Installed extra sanitisation stations
- Additional cleaning regime
- The communal kitchen area will be closed
- Mandatory towels
- Encouraging members to bring their own equipment
- New Conditions of Entry to the building
- COVID-19 area-specific signage
- Some of our staff will be wearing masks
What hygiene standards should we follow?
Please take responsibility for your own personal hygiene and respect the space of others. Washing / sanitising hands thoroughly, covering coughs and sneezes, keeping 2m from the nearest person, bringing & using your own sweat towel, and bringing your own filled drink bottle/yoga mat/boxing gloves, and not sharing or touching anything that you don’t have to.
What do I need to bring to a boot camp?
A sweat towel - Strictly NO TOWEL, NO TRAINING
A filled water bottle
Appropriate workout shoes that are closed toe and covered.
Do I have to wear a mask?
Wearing a face mask is your choice but is not mandatory. Some of our staff may be wearing masks for additional protection.
Can I come to class if I have a cough or sore throat?
No – If you feel ill at any stage, you need to stay away from all BBM boot camps and self-isolate. Please follow the health advice at www.covid19.govt.nz and ring the Telehealth service on 0800 358 5453.
Do I need to bring hand sanitiser with me?
We have sufficient hand sanitiser stations which are available to use. You may bring your own if you wish to do so.
How can I attend classes?
Firstly, you will need to register and create a free MINDBODY account via our website https://www.thebbmprogram.com/mindbody Once you are set up and have downloaded the free app, you can book free boot camp sessions as they appear on the schedule.
What if I book a class, but then find I cannot attend?
Please log into your account in the MINDBODY app and cancel your booking. This must be done at least an hour before your scheduled booking, to allow others to book your spot and make their way to class before it begins.
What happens if I cancel within an hour before my class starts?
Cancellations within an hour are considered ‘Late Cancellations’ – Ideally, if you’re unable to attend, please cancel well in advance so that others on the waiting list have ample time to make their way to boot camp. We will be monitoring this closely.
What happens if I book a free session, but I forget to cancel and don’t show up?
There will be a 2-strike rule. If you fail to attend for 2 booked boot camps, your account will be restricted and monitored.
What if I turn up to a Boot camp without booking?
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend you book a session BEFORE turning up to boot camp. If you attempt to book into a class which is already full, you have the option of adding yourself to the waitlist.
What happens when I am on the waitlist?
As soon as a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will automatically be allocated the vacant spot.
Can I book multiple classes in advance?
No. We want to ensure that everyone has the chance to attend a session and avoid disappointment from those who book many slots in advance. Sessions will be made available to book the day prior, so please, only book if you are 100% certain you will attend. We will review this in due course.
Can I bring my children to class with me?
Yes, if they have registered and booked and will be participating in the entire training session and supervised by you. Due to health and safety reasons in alert level 2, young children and babies cannot come to the sessions. The Children’s play area at BBM HQ is out of bounds.
How do I book my children’s classes?
You can only book on their behalf via the web - https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/
Please remember to do this every time you intend on bringing them to a session.
If my child/children have booked but are unable to attend, how do I cancel their booking?
There are two simple ways to cancel bookings on behalf of your children:
1) Cancel via https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/ - click on 'My info' then 'My schedule' then cancel
2) Call or text 0225140173 at least an hour prior to your scheduled class
Can I come along to be a spectator?
Unfortunately no, if you are not booked to train in that class, you will not be allowed to enter the premises during the class.
