BBM Motivation was established in 2014 across the Auckland region to achieve health, fitness and motivational goals. BBM runs programmes to help people lose weight in a healthy sustainable way.
BBM programmes include: Free Community Boot Camps welcoming, exercise, motivation and nutrition tips in community spaces around Auckland for up to 150 people at each Boot Camp.
We conduct weekly 21 boot camps that consist of exercises routines 7-days a week, attended by 1000 people in South and West and Central Auckland. All the boot camps are in either halls or the outdoors with minimal reliance on equipment and all exercise is a movement of the body.
The boot camps cater to all ages, shapes, sizes and weight and different levels of fitness. The environment is purposely communal that is supportive and non-judgmental that people feel comfortable participating in a safe and protected environment.
BBM Motivation also has a special focus on obese people that have given up on life because of their circumstances; much suffering diabetes and other physical illnesses along with mental health-related issues, e.g. depression, etc.
BBM Vision Statement is to "Reduce obesity amongst Maori and Pacific People in New Zealand through education thereby enabling them to choose a healthy and active life-style for the duration of their lives, their children, their wider family and the community”.
